The BABYVIEW20 kit from Levana consists of a handheld monitor and a color camera. The system can be set up literally within seconds from taking it out of the box. To power the camera you have the option to use either the supplied AC adapter or 4 AAA batteries (not included). Meanwhile, the monitor runs off a rechargeable lithium battery, which should last about 4 and a half hours before needing to be recharged.

The transmission range of the BABYVIEW20 between the monitor and camera is up to 150 feet and can be used both indoors and outdoors. The camera’s built-in night-vision allows you to see your baby at all times, even in complete darkness. The night-vision will turn on automatically when it gets dark allowing you to see up to 15 feet away. The night-vision will turn off during the day to save energy.

The camera also has a built-in microphone which allows you to hear everything that is happening in your monitoring location. That way if your baby cries, you’ll hear it instantly.
